Our thermal bio-clay is made from mature mud extracted from the Lake Costa within the Colli Euganei Regional Park. It has been known for millennia for its healing properties. This is because applying thermal bio-clay is the most effective way to release and transmit the healing force of our thermal water to the body. It is a 100% natural mud which remains immersed in our thermal water at a temperature of about 38 degrees for at least sixty days. This “maturation” period generates an organic biofilm of extraordinary anti-inflammatory strength. The mud is applied directly to the skin and left for about 15 minutes at a temperature ranging between 37 °C and 42 °C. The treatment finishes with a tonic shower and a thermal bath.
