A prescription for thermal cures is valid for the entire calendar year. Only one treatment cycle per year (1 January – 31 December) is permitted, unless special conditions apply under current regulations.

The prescribed treatments must be completed in a single continuous cycle, at the same thermal establishment, within 60 days of the first session. They cannot be split across different periods of the year.
